iPro Interview
January 24, 2009I recently had the pleasure of doing an interview for iPro, the new blog from Craig Elimeliah devoted exclusively for Owners/Interactive Producers so that we have a voice in our industry and to share, compare, empathize and educate each other and our clients.
If the subject matters to you, check out the rest of the blog for a great source of information and inspiration.
Thanks Craig!
Back from MAX Milan
December 7, 2008
Had a terrific time in Milan and met a lot of colleagues and friends. Many thanks to Adobe UK and Robin Charney for the opportunity.
During my session I showed our latest top secret project for the first time, focusing on the creative and technical challenges we are currently facing. It’s always difficult to prepare a work in progress session, but I think it was well received by the audience. Thanks to Galdric Pons from Hebiflux for the video.
On the same afternoon, I had the pleasure of joining Anton Volkov and Alex Karpovich from Alternativa and Rob Bateman from Away3D in a Birds of a Feather panel session to discuss the present and future of Flash 3D. A great conversation that continued throughout the dinner and drinks to celebrate the second anniversary of both Papervision3D and Alternativa. From left to right, Anton, Alex, Rob and myself.
Also did a couple of quick interviews with my friends Thibault Imbert and Peter Elst:
It was a great conference, with representation from three 3D engines and a considerable part of the audience interested in realtime 3D. We begin to see 3D maturing and becoming an increasingly important part of Flash, instead of a mere novelty. Great news indeed.
FWA Silhouette: Carlos Ulloa
April 16, 2008I’m flattered to be featured in the FWA Silhouette series, alongside Moses Gunesch, Yugo Nakamura and Tim Nolan.
Written by Craig Elimeliah, the article passionately covers the development of Papervision3D.
Thanks Craig and the FWA.
