In an ABSOLUT World

March 12, 2008

Absolut loves visions. They love them so much that they turn visions into realities.

In an ABSOLUT World everybody can submit their visions and explore what others have envisioned and realized.

Developed for Great Works in Stockholm, the site combines realtime 3D graphics with 2D physics, to create an interactive navigation experience.

Realized visions are represented in by boxes that you can drag, spin and open. Each one is different, you’ll find all kinds of content inside.

Submitted visions are clouds floating in the sky. Both can be arranged in different views. Click on the background to look around the scene. Press space to make the boxes happy.

It has been a cold winter, but nevertheless a pleasure to work with the team assembled for this project.

From the creative direction of Ted Persson, the art and crazy ideas of Jacob Åström and Jakob Nielsen and the hard work of Eva Nilsson and Jocke Wissing on the production.

Finely crafted animation by Medios y Proyectos (myp) and great music by Jonas Quant aka Quantastical.

Work has not finished and we will be adding new functionality and final touches over the next days.

Hope you enjoy it.

Happy 2008!

January 1, 2008

We want to wish everyone a Happy New Year 2008.

Following Papervision3D’s debut in 2006, and the 3D navigation of 2007, this year you can create your own message and share or embed it.

It has been an excellent first year for us at carlosulloa.com, and we hope 2008 will be even better.

Hello World!
